Welcome to this week's H2 Newsletter
Well done and thanks to those members who went out to deliver the leaflets advertising next Sunday's Time Stamp Photographic Exhibition to the good people of Much Hadham and its environs. We had at least a dozen out on the streets this Thursday evening and one or two members have gone above and beyond by delivering the leaflets in their own time.
And many thanks to Andrew who organised the logistics of the leaflet push with a precision that the army would be proud of. He estimates we have 'pushed' 600 leaflets so far. For those of you have not seen the leaflet, see below. Thanks to Mark for the design and printing of these.
The images for the exhibition have now been selected by the (specially selected) selection committee; our thanks to them. The exhibition will exhibit 48 prints and they are being printed this coming week. Thanks go to Jeff and Mark for organising the printing; a time-consuming job for Jeff, by all accounts. Jeff has also put together a PDI display of many of the other images that have been taken by members that did not get selected for the print exhibition. This will be continuously played on a loop whilst the exhibition is open.
Thanks also to Jo for doing tea and coffee duties this week.

It's a big week, next week for H2
On our next club evening (Thursday 12 September) we are hosting a private preview of our Time Stamp Photographic Exhibition for our members to see the images that are being exhibited. There is a rumour that wine and cheese will be served...
We are also inviting those people of Much Hadham that were kind enough to be photographed and who feature in the exhibition. We look forward to seeing you all there - the evening starts at 7.45pm, as usual.
Then, next Sunday, 15 September, between 10am and 5pm we will be holding the Exhibition proper. We will need volunteers to help on the day; if you are able to assist, please let one of the committee members know.

Surprise
Members were given a spontaneous opportunity for wildlife photography after the club evening on Thursday. As they came out of the Bull pub, a juvenile fox was wandering around in the road giving those members quick enough with their cameras or phones an image or two. He was instantly named Freddy Fox and Mark's image of Freddy can be seen both here and on our H2 Flickr group page.
This goes to prove what we've often said: keep your camera with you always because you never know when an image will present itself.

On behalf of the Beyond Group I would like to invite your members to our 12th Annual National Exhibition on the 21st September, which is part of the BPE circuit. The Exhibition is held at the Copdock and Washbrook Village Hall, London Rd, Ipswich IP8 3JN. The doors open at 12:00 am and the presentation of awards will be at 16:00. Entry and refreshments are free by the way.
Should any of your members like to come along it would be appreciated if you could let me know at least a week before of the numbers, so we can ensure there will be sufficient refreshments on hand. Nothing is worse than having 1 teabag between 12!
Many thanks and look forward to seeing you on the day.
Best wishes
