This Thursday...

This Thursday thanks to friend of the club and wildlife guru Peter Warne, we have a practical evening at Copped Hall gardens. Entrance will require a donation of £10 per person to help support The Copped Hall Trust, you can either pay this as cash on the evening or email Chris for bank transfer details.

PLEASE EMAIL CHRIS BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT IF YOU INTEND TO COME as we need a record of who is on-site. Also please take a note of Chris's Mobile No: 07970 388269 in case you need help on the evening.

Please be at the gates by 6.45pm, Pete will wait until 7.10 to let you in but if you are later than that you will not get in. Please don’t park on the drive as the residents get irritated.

H2's Exciting New Programme is Here

The programme for 2021/2 is now planned and you can view it here:

H2 2021/2022 Programme

As you can see we have gone for a hybrid programme with meetings alternating between zoom and in the hall. Zoom allows us to have speakers and judges from around the country and the hall meetings allow for socialising, plenty of practical learning and even the return of some print competitions.

Old Faithfuls by Jonathan Saull

Last Thursday...

...we had a super-duper evening in the great outdoors.

An intrepid collection of members braved the great-British-weather for our second evening at Jonathan's place.

There was a display of artistic chainsawing and strimming to be photographed, along with what one H2 member described as the "'Grey Arrows' tractor display" - some of the images are shown here but we are sure that there will be others included in future H2 newsletters.

Notwithstanding the "exceptional climatic conditions" (another member's description), Jonathan and his wife supplied hot drinks and cake.

- that was above and beyond the call of duty and a huge thank you from H2.
