Last Night
Paul Radden did an excellent job as MC hosting the EAF 2018 Entrants - approx 300 images Digital/Mono prints/Colour prints, to give members an idea for the 2020 competition.

Welcome to all our new members, it is very encouraging to see locals joining the club.  if you have any questions about how things work please ask a member of the committee and we should be able to find the answer for you.

Dave Woods, stood up and thanked everyone for all their support and said that his big op was next week and he will be away for at least 3 months. We all wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery.

Thanks to Jeff & Jo for doing the teas.

Sunday
Don't forget to put your clocks back on Sunday and more importantly make your way down to Epping Forest for our Annual meet.  A chance to take photos and explore.  Full details in the panel below.

Next Week
Next Thursday is a print critique evening on the subject of close up and macro - please bring along up to 4 prints (mounted or unmounted) each.  This is not a formal competition like the B&W a few weeks back but is instead a chance for everyone to discuss their images and to offer feedback on other peoples images.   It would be great to see some images from our newer members in this critique session too.

24/7
There are some interesting discussions going on in our Flickr group - for example this thread on how one improves as a photographer.
