This Thursday...

So this week we have a zoom meeting (the invite is further down the page, members and non-members are welcome). Warren and Chris have teamed up to create a presentation. The title of the talk is "things I wish I had known", which if nothing else sounds mysterious!

One of the promised elements is an explanation of how Chris shot and processed the picture above, plus a lot of lessons learned over the years.

Copped Hall Garden Structure by Dave Hobbs

H2's Exciting New Programme is Here

As you can see we have gone for a hybrid programme with meetings alternating between zoom and in the hall. Zoom allows us to have speakers and judges from around the country and the hall meetings allow for socialising, plenty of practical learning and even the return of some print competitions.

Copped Hall Flyover by Warren Martin

Last Thursday

We had a really great evening at Copped Hall on Thursday thanks to, friend of the club and all-round gentleman, Peter Warne.   Peter not only arranged for us to have exclusive access to the gardens of the hall but also arranged for some great weather as well.

There was lots to photograph in the grounds, from the slowly being restored garden buildings and features through to rich flower borders and views across the surrounding parkland.  We even had a passing dog walker modelling for us thanks to Malcolm's persuasion.

Once the grounds were closed, some of the group made their way to the nearby bridge over the M25 for some practice shooting light trails.

All in all, it was a lovely chance to get out and enjoy our hobby with friends. Which is what the club is all about.

A huge thanks to Peter for showing us around and arranging everything so well.
