Summer Session Fun

Last night was a really interesting evening with a large turn out of members.  In our initial discussions about the way the club should go I remember saying that we should try doing things as differently as possible. That way we make interesting mistakes rather than boring successes.

Well it seems the vision group have taken this and run with it in The Summer Sessions are indeed very different:  The club broke into small groups, some exploring Much Hadham, others doing portrait shoots of local characters, whilst inside the hall there was a lot of learning, practical fun and talk.  Thanks To Paul M and David Woods for bringing along flash systems for everyone to play with.

Whilst I am thanking people, thanks to those who helped with the teas & coffees. Good to see people willingly helping with this task rather than letting it always fall on the same shoulders. Oh and thanks to David Lukey for the cake...always a good thing!

Next week will be more of the same:  a chance for you to get out and be creative, learn new skills and chat to friends old and new. if you are shooting outside it is well worth getting to Much Hadham early for the best light.  Talking of light, Graham Chippett promised to bring his continuous lighting system next week - I am looking forward to that .  As ever:

Flickr Logo  The new H2 Flickr group has been created with Jeff and Paul Major kindly offering to administer it.  Members should have been sent an invite via an email, if you haven't received one, please email them for access.

The intention is to use the flickr group as a way to collate all the entries for the Much Hadham Timestamp exhibition.
