The H2 Newsletter

Fun in the dark

Down towards the bottom of this newsletter I have added a few events that look like good photo opportunities. I thought people might be interested in a feature like this, Let me know if you find this useful or not.  In addition there is an advert for Russell Savory's talk at the village hall in October, which looks interesting.

The exhibition dates and plans have changed so please checkout the dates for your diary section.

Last night made for an interesting change.  Jeff talked through how to get on to Flickr and upload to our Flickr Group. Which made things a bit clearer for everyone.  If you have questions, need help or an invite to the page please contact Jeff and the other admins via this email address.

We also got the chance to play with the freshly repaired club laptop and the projector in our new environment.  Its funny how things we took for granted in the old hall (projector position, seating, power) all need to be worked out again.  Images looked reasonable if a little over-contrasty,  Graham is going to see if he can track down the club calibration equipment & improve things.

Thanks to Alan, Alan & Jo who helped with the teas & coffees.

Next week Mark and Paul will be doing some flashing and as with every other summer session it's a chance for you to get out and be creative, learn new skills and chat to friends old and new. if you are shooting outside it is well worth getting to Much Hadham early for the best light.
