This Thursday...

We are finally back in the hall after what seems like forever - if you have never been to the hall before details are below.

We start the meeting with a presentation of the best of last year. Then it is on to some printing and mounting demonstrations and a bit of playing around on Zoom.

Hopefully, it will be a gentle start to the season and a chance to catch up with friends.

H2's Exciting New Programme is Here

H2 2021/2022 Programme

As you can see we have gone for a hybrid programme with meetings alternating between zoom and in the hall. Zoom allows us to have speakers and judges from around the country and the hall meetings allow for socialising, plenty of practical learning and even the return of some print competitions.

Last Thursday...

Was a pretty laid back fun evening presented by Warren and Chris. Warren started with a walkthrough of Flickr and the best ways to use it. Still confused? Get in touch with Warren and he will happily talk you through groups & tags and how to get more feedback on your images.

Then it was onto Chris to share some of the things he has learnt over the years about photography. First with things to keep in the car: umbrella, tripod, insect repellant and a towel.

Then we saw a free Photoshop alternative: https://www.photopea.com/ which seems to work exactly like photoshop but costs nothing to use! Then he showed a series of different tricks he has picked up in photoshop.

All in all a fun and informative evening, thanks Warren & Chris.
