The H2 Newsletter

"Move Fast and Break Things"

The above quote is attributed to Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and its ethos is part of how companies like Facebook/Google/Amazon/etc have been successful. Making mistakes and breaking things is a natural part of rapid change..well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Also you may have noticed we are now H2 Photographic Society - we realised H2 Imaging would make us hard to find on the internet so a change was needed.

I am sure there will be other things that we don't get right first time, but as long as we embrace problems as soon as possible we can fix them before they become really big problems.

You will also notice a new logo, designed by Mark Edwards, at the top of this mail. This was the winner of our logo competition.

Projected Image of the Year
Last nights competition was to find the best projected image of the 2018/19 season and was expertly judged by Dr Roger Winter.

In a closely contested competition  Chris Shepherd came in first place with his street photo "I feel like I am being watched"

The Summer Sessions

This year the club will be meeting throughout the summer in order to get used to our new home of Much Hadham.  The plan is to meet every Thursday evening (7:45 Start) during the summer to capture images of Much Hadham, it's occupants and it's flora and fauna for our upcoming exhibition.

The first Summer session will be 4th July and in the honor of it being independence day Warren Martin has arranged for an american themed evening with US style food and refreshment for all participants.
