This Thursday was our Portrait Competition. A projected digital image (PDI) competition, critiqued and marked by Alison Jenkins. Alison did a great job of sifting through the entries, especially considering how many of them were pictures of Andrew from a recent club portrait evening!
It was great to see our new members entering the competition and the projector was working well thanks to Jeff working on the calibration.

This Thursday 5 March
This coming Thursday we have a talk by Essex based Photographer Dave Peck, based near Colchester.
Dave has over 30 years of experience in photography - From working in a photographic lab, as a cruise ship and school photographer. His talk should be interesting and entertaining and as you can see from the example below his landscape work is excellent.

There is lots of activity on our H2 Flickr page. You will see from the panels further down that we are promoting (yes, there's a prize to be won - see Fabulous Flickr February, below) and developing it as a resource for all of our members. We see our H2 Flickr page as a place to "continue the conversation" allowing the sort of discussion and learning to carry on between the club meetings.
