New Beginnings

It was so good to see so many people turn up to the inaugural meeting of H2, and what a lovely relaxed evening it was.

I think everyone there will join me in thanking Warren for providing the food (out of his own pocket - very generous, (he's a lovely man)) and his two lovely assistants Alison and Lorna.

The evening was very relaxed with the emphasis on  getting used to our new home and Mark doing a quick talk about what the vision group (Mark, Warren and Paul M) have in store for us over the next few weeks.  It is a very ambitious program but already they have broken the first rule of camera club:

One does not simply take one's camera to camera club

Then it was off for a walk around the village to take pictures, discuss equipment or chat with friends old and new. It was certainly a great way to start the new club, well done and thank you to everyone involved.

For many it was a first chance to visit the hall and work out the best way to get there.  It seems for me going up the M11 to Birchanger and back down to Much Hadham was faster and easier than the route the Satnav wanted me to go!

A lively club night

Next week the summer sessions start in earnest with portrait sessions already booked with some of the local characters.  Don't forget your camera.

The following six sessions will focus on creating images for the Much Hadham Time-Stamp Exhibition:
