H2 Flickr SHOWCASE Has Arrived!

Hello H2 Members,

This week we are launching our Flickr SHOWCASE page. This is our "outward-facing" site that's open to the world.

Members have already shown amazing support and in order to get the very best from SHOWCASE, here is some more information:

Images will be chosen only from our club Flickr page.
Members will be 'invited' to submit their images (please do not send any other images)
Each image that has been invited, has to be 'accepted' by the relevant member
All members are encouraged to continue to upload their very best work, competition winners, etc., to our club Flickr page
The page will grow over the next few weeks, and be "refreshed" on an on-going basis

We hope this will become yet another practical incentive to get "creative" with our cameras and computers endeavouring to have our images "SHOWCASED".

(Please note, members' sovereignty over their images remain - if members do not wish to have an image on SHOWCASE, then just don't accept the invitation)

Notifications are found here on personal Flickr page

Invitation To SHOWCASE:

Members will receive invitations either via notifications on a member's personal page, or by email. (It will depend on what members have chosen for their 'Emails & Notifications' under their 'Account settings'.)

Notifications can be found by clicking on the bell-shaped icon in the top-right of the personal Flickr page - see example above.

An example of an emailed invitation is shown below. Just click on 'H2 Photo SHOWCASE' (sometimes scrolling down is necessary to see where to accept the invitation).
