I'm looking forward to seeing members' still life prints and PDIs at tomorrow evening's club meet. We will be building on Heather's (& other's) excellent tutorial evening of a few weeks ago, where we were shown how to set up and capture still life images - with lots of useful short-cuts and tips including how to make tripod out of a cloth bag filled with haricot beans :)
Tomorrow evening we will be looking at and discussing the "image" itself: what makes a good still life image. Is it creative composition? Is it lighting, colour, sharpness? Get your thinking caps on.

On another subject, next Wednesday evening, 6 November, we have an external competition with several local clubs at Loughton Camera Club, Lopping Hall, Loughton. Unfortunately, I am unable to be there so am wondering if I could have a volunteer, who is going, to take our print entry with them.
