Hello and welcome
The theme of this week's virtual meeting is cataloguing & work-flow... Oh, that's two themes. We just don't care, this week :)

Chris will be kicking us off with how he catalogues his stuff once it's in Lightroom. This will include keywords, collections, smart collections, stars, etc.

Then Jeff will be showing how he imports his images into Lightroom both from a hard drive and from camera. He will also be explaining file structuring.

By way of giving members options and comparisons in their work-flow, Paul will then show how he uploads his images, how he structures his folders; he will again show the image management software that he uses - Bridge - through to opening the images in Photoshop, Affinity or Lightroom.

We will endeavour to take things a little more leisurely this week, to allow members to take notes or click-along on their apps. And at some point we will be having a comfort break for 5 minutes or so for the obvious reason (and to refresh our libation, perhaps).

Winner Stays On Competition

We have several competitors now on our H2 Flickr group page, who are hoping to win this week's "Winner Stays On" competition. Members have two more days to upload their images on the theme: "In the Kitchen"; it would be great to see your interpretation of this theme. Please entitle your images "In the Kitchen", and number them 1, 2, etc., (if you are entering more than one). You do not need to put your name on them because that will show on Flickr.
This Thursday, Chris will pick the winner. And whoever is the winner, "stays on" and chooses both the next week's theme and picks the winner of that competition.
So, get your creative juices flowing...and those of you who are in contention, have your theme ready just in case you are the winner because we'll need to know what it is for next week's competition.
