Hello and welcome

This week we have a special guest presenting for us - Clare Harvey-May from Olympus

Clare has agreed to do a Q&A session for us to answer any questions you may have about Olympus or photography in general. Clare is extremely knowledgable having owned a camera shop and been involved in photography .

Please give some thought to this before the meeting and come up with some questions for her - they don't all have to be technical questions, some fun ones might be interesting too.

And at some point, we will be having a comfort break for 5 minutes or so for the obvious reason (and to refresh our libation, perhaps).

We look forward to "seeing" you all on Thursday evening

Coming Soon

The committee is working hard to create a programme that will be interesting and exciting given our new way of meeting. Planned items include demonstrations, speakers and competitions.

Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see.

Winner Stays On Competition

We have several competitors now on our H2 Flickr group page, who are hoping to win this week's "Winner Stays On" competition. Members have two more days to upload their images on the theme: "In the Bathroom"; it would be great to see your interpretation of this theme. Please entitle your images "In the Kitchen", and number them 1, 2, etc., (if you are entering more than one). You do not need to put your name on them because that will show on Flickr.
This Thursday, Jo will pick the winner. And whoever is the winner, "stays on" and chooses both the next week's theme and picks the winner of that competition.
So, get your creative juices flowing...and those of you who are in contention, have your theme ready just in case you are the winner because we'll need to know what it is for next week's competition.
