As you may be aware we are affiliated to the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies (EAF). Once a year the EAF organise an inter-club championship inviting their member-clubs (all 117 of them!) to enter images.
Due to the pandemic, this is the first year since 2019 that we have been able to enter the PDI competition.
Our 25 images (titles & authors below) will be judged by three independent judges:
Jean Brooks EFIAP/b BPE2*;
Glyn Edmunds ARPS APSA EPSA EFIAP/g and
Paul Keene FRPS MPAGB EFIAP/d1 MFIAP.
The competition will be held on Sunday 13 February in Fulbourn, near Cambridge. The below poster gives the full address and helpful details.
Hearty Congratulations
I would like to congratulate H2 members for being such a keen & creative bunch.
Looking back at our previous submission (2019) it is obvious to me that our images have developed, we have broadened our approach, we are trying different perspectives, and overall being more venturesome. Well done us.
Now whether this will translate into success at this competition we will have to wait and see, but I wanted to give you my opinion as your external competition secretary (having spent all day looking at our images :)
As Robert Altman is quoted as saying:
