Last Week - Getting Practical

last week we had some practical instruction. Starting with Stan who took us through how he takes his panoramas. I must say it was nice to see a camera at the camera club for once.

Then on to Paul who took us through how he created his HDR panoramas and stacked images, with a refreshingly creative "and then I thought I would try" approach which allowed us all to explore the possibilities with us.

Finally, Jeff took us through a couple of the lesser-known features in lightroom which can really improve your workflow and save you time. Personally, I found the synchronisation stuff really useful and I must remember to try it with all my 1000s of fox pictures - being able to shoot at 20fps is great but processing & sorting through all those images can be very time-consuming.

A big thanks to Stan, Paul and Jeff for the work they put into making it a successful evening.

The Programme for the Weeks Ahead

Here is our programme for the next few weeks. Your committee is retaining what we can from the old programme and taking advantage of the fact that we are meeting over Zoom to bring in some speakers we would not normally have been able to. As the CV19 lockdown eases we are also endeavouring to organise practical evenings where we can meet (and remain safe)
