His "Make-It-Your-Own" presentation is intended to excite your creativity, looking at ways to make otherwise 'pedestrian' images more interesting. The independent judge on the night, Malcolm Rapier, had over 60 of our members' images to critique and then give a mark out of twenty. Malcolm proved to be an exemplary image assessor, managing the difficult balancing act of appraising our images but in a positive and appropriate way that motivates, educates and boosts members' confidence. We are taking advantage of the fact that we are meeting over Zoom to bring in some speakers we would not normally have been able to. It was run by Loughton CC with each club entering 12 images. On the night they were expertly judged by Sarah Kelman and I, for one, benefited from her comments. How did we do? I won't go into detail, suffice to say, we were in the top six... and live to fight another day :)   Paul (Major) External Competition Secretary Interested in Joining Us?
