OUR LATEST EXTERNAL

 COMPETITION:

 THE 1 IN 60

(this newsletter is sent to H2 members only)

Hello H2 Members

This coming Monday...

...we have an external competition competing against 3 other local clubs: Barking, Walthamstow and Chingford.

Each club has entered 15 images and the judge, Terry Hewitt, will run through the sixty images many times. At each pass he will remove some images until he ends up with one overall winner - hence the title of this competition: 1 in 60.

Walthamstow is hosting the competition this year and H2 Members are warmly invited to attend or watch the competition over Zoom; all the details are given below.

Details for the 1 in 60 competition on Monday 6 June 2022:

Venue is The Quaker Meeting Hall, 1A Jewel Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4QU.

It commences at 20.00h and will conclude about 22.00h with a break for refreshments.

Sorry to Announce...

Unfortunately, Kirsty Ralfs' lessons have finished prematurely due to her being offered a full-time position at her local college.

Without access to the free broadband and, probably more significantly, lack of time, she has been forced to give up many of her lecturing roles. She sends her apologies and wishes H2 every success for the future.

However, all is not lost for H2's members, hungry to learn the whys and wherefores of our
art form.

Watch this space...

Best wishes

H2 Members' Images

Coming back to the upcoming 1 in 60 competition, I have shown above & below our entered images. They have an excellent "pedigree" being images that have achieved 20s in our league competitions or scored highly in our assignments.

But...as we all know it is the judge on the night that has the final say.

Fingers crossed, guys.

Best wishes
 Paul (Major)
