Using Photo Entry

We now use a cloud-based system called PhotoEntry, which allows for each participant to manage their entries across all competitions.

One time setup

The first thing that needs to be done is to set up user accounts. For paid-up members that want to enter the still life competition please email,  to get your account set up if you have never entered before.

When your account is set up you will receive an email with your user ID, which will in most cases be your email address. For members that share email addresses, you will get a unique user ID. To activate your account click on the link and follow the on-screen instructions, it will require you to set up a new password. Please Note: the link expires in 24hrs (if the link has expired click on the “forgot password” link, if you are still having problems email the committee and I will pick it up).

Entering A Competition

Once you have logged in you should get presented with the main menu screen.

Select the DPI option to open up the DPI assignments for the upcoming season.

Select the DPI Still Life and a new screen will presented.

Add your title for the image then select “Add This Entry“, all you have done at this point is add the title.

On the next screen is where your image is uploaded, select “Choose JPEG” to search for your image to upload

Normal rules for DPI submissions apply, if you have titled your file in our usual way there is no need to rename it, as file names are ignored, it uses the title given earlier.
