This week, in the Hall..
We have our Christmas Party and quiz. Bring along your brains primed for questions on general knowledge and who-knows-what else (plus some photographic questions, we're sure).
As always when we meet in the hall, hot drinks and biscuits will be freely available, but do bring along your favourite tipple if you wish; it is the season to be merry after all.

Reflecting on 2022
At this time of year it is useful to look back over the past year. It has been a year where we at H2 have consolidated ourselves after the pandemic.
We are developing both as individual members and as a club. There is greater confidence and creativity, evidenced by several of the independent judges' positive comments we have heard this year.
We are learning new skills. And re-learning skills we have 'misplaced', perhaps? Certainly, we are acquiring a greater feeling of achievement and satisfaction from our art form.
We are successfully harnessing and leveraging the "goodies" of the digital age. We have embraced social media; our busy club WhatsApp group is where members are kept up to date of developments, and members can pass on useful hints and tips easily.
Our (private) H2 Flickr page has our members' best work uploaded on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis allowing members to view, enjoy and constructively comment on.
But that's not all. We have our outward-facing public media too: our H2 website, Facebook and Twitter. Importantly, we now have our (public) SHOWCASE Flickr page allowing the world to view our images.
At their core these technologies are a modern hub for learning and sharing, allowing us to enjoy and improve our photography online every day 24/7.
Onward to 2023!
