Hello, and welcome to this week's H2 Newsletter.

This Thursday (22 June) we are meeting on Zoom for a talk by Andy Phillips entitled The Visual Signature.  Andy is an accomplished landscape photographer, tutor and course leader.  He produces landscapes of stunning quality, so this promises to be a really interesting talk.

Ideas for August: (and some of July, too) We are requesting members to suggest ideas for our Summer meets on a Thursday, once this season's programme concludes and before we restart on 7 September. Please give us your ideas for what you'd like to photograph and where you'd like to go, and we'll endeavour to get it organised. Just email us your ideas, please.

Any member who has questions or needs help with submitting images, simply email us on committee@h2photo.org.uk (or just ask on our H2 WhatsApp group), and we will assist you.

Last Week...

...Last week we had a Zoom talk and demonstration by David Smith of OM-D and I must say, it was an excellent experience! David is an expert in his field and his knowledge and passion for photography really shone through in his presentation.

Throughout the demonstration, David walked us through the various features and capabilities of the OM-D camera, providing helpful tips and tricks along the way. He was patient and thorough in his explanations, ensuring that everyone in the audience understood the concepts he was discussing.

One thing I particularly appreciated about David's presentation was his willingness to answer questions. He encouraged participants to ask any questions they had, no matter how basic or advanced, and he provided thoughtful and informative responses.

Thanks, David, for a great demonstration!

Useful Links...

We had several beneficial comments from H2 members at our AGM last week. Your committee is listening and we have instigated this panel to give links (and other information) about our club activity that members have requested routine access to.

Here we have a link to the Club's Programme for the entire season. Do check it regularly because it is occasionally amended.

Here we have a link to the Club's DPI League Competition scores.

Other results can be found here.

Committee Meeting Minutes can be found here

Information on upcoming practicals will be given in the Things Upcoming section above allowing more time for members to prepare.
