This Thursday...
...We meet on zoom for the song title critique. This will be a chance for everyone to see and discuss how everyone did with the song title challenge.
League Comp Round 1
Our league competition is about to start, this is an open competition so you may enter an image on any subject you like. The league consists of four rounds of competitions spread across the year, each judged by different judges and we encourage every member to enter images to get feedback on your work.
... it was our first ever "ready, steady, shoot". Thanks To Jeff, Paul, Heather & Chris we had 4 setups in the hall. Each setup consisted of some lighting and some objects to photograph. The club was split into 4 teams and each team had to try to produce 1 good image they liked in 20 minutes.
With Chris turning into our very own Jo Lycette as the "Facilitator" the even flew by with each team producing different images at each station and lots of discussion and creative ideas going on. Keep an eye on our Flickr page to see what the teams produced.

There is a carpark and entrance at the back of the hall.
Prints need to be handed in a week before the competition (but as we meet every other week it is actually 2 weeks in advance), a digital copy of the image must also be submitted via email.
Digital Images need to be submitted 10 days before via email
