We're Back In The Hall This Week
Time to get your cameras & tripods out, guys, and bring them along to Much Hadham Village Hall. Yes, we're meeting in person this week!
So, this Thursday we are setting up several lighting 'stations' to allow us to create imaginative images. Highlighted in our programme as a flower practical, we will have flowers available for us to construct and produce imaginative images.
It will be an opportunity for us to practice our lighting and camera techniques - it is always advantageous to consider beforehand what we would like to create - planning ahead is always useful.
And it will be the first chance we've had in a while, to chat and catchup in person with H2 colleagues and friends

Last Week With Kieran Metcalfe
Our speaker last week was Kieran Metcalf. With his stunning landscape images he has earned himself the position of Formatt Hitech Ambassador (so if you need any assistance with choosing the right filters for your photography, he's your man).
His excellent talk was called 'Taming the Chaos - Exercising Photographic Control in the Landscape', where he outlined how landscape photography relies on two components: the atmospheric conditions, which you cannot control, and the composition of the scene - which you absolutely can control.
Another valuable presentation courtesy of the virtual world.

Looking Ahead...
Hello H2 members, now we are getting back to "normal", there are several stimulating items in our programme that are worth headlining.
Importantly, the third round in our club league competition will be upon us before we know it. It is being judged by Sally Sallett; our entries need to be in by 14 March.
Get shooting / choosing / manipulating, guys.
And on Thursday 10 March we have a presentation by Roger Hance. He will be showing us how he takes wildlife images from his garden...so you don't need to go far to get wildlife shots.
And you won't need to leave home to see him because it's a virtual evening

We Would Love To See Members' Successful Images
H2 Photo SHOWCASE is where our club shows its work "to the world". It allows everybody access to see H2's best work.
If members would like the chance to have their best work featured on SHOWCASE, please upload your competition-winners and your commended images to the club's H2 Flickr page. This will allow Warren, Geoff and Jonathan to view them.
Who knows, they may even choose them!

Much Hadham Parish Magazine Needs Our Images
The Editor of our local Parish Magazine would love to see more of our images of Much Hadham and its environs to go on this year's front pages. Images can be as straightforward or as creative as we like to make them.
There are two constraints however: firstly the images need to be in colour and, secondly, they need to be portrait format. It's a great opportunity to see our images in print.
